Guè in Zante 2026 — Live at Gatsby Theatre

Every summer the Italian crowd takes over Zante, and in 2026 the biggest names in Italian rap followed it onto the island. Guè — formerly Guè Pequeno — was one of them. His Zante date, on 2 August 2026, wasn't a DJ set squeezed into a club corner: it was a full live show on a real stage at Gatsby Live Theatre in Argassi, the only open-air concert venue on the island built for acts of his size. This page looks back at that night — who he is and what makes a Gatsby concert different.

Who Is Guè

Guè, formerly known as Guè Pequeno, is one of the most influential and prolific rappers in Italy. He was a founding member of Club Dogo, the Milan group that shaped a whole era of Italian hip-hop, and went on to build one of the most respected solo careers in the genre. If you follow Italian rap at all, you already know his voice, his flow and the hooks a whole crowd shouts back at him. Booking him for a single open-air night on a Greek island was exactly the kind of thing that makes a Zante summer different from any other.

The Gatsby Live Experience

Gatsby Live Theatre sits in Argassi and is the only open-air venue on Zante built to host major live acts — a concert space, not a nightclub. That distinction matters: you get a proper stage, proper sound and a crowd facing one direction instead of a DJ booth in the middle of a dancefloor. Guè's 2026 show was billed for 23:30, once the night has properly settled in and the air has cooled. A crowd singing along in Italian under an open Greek sky lands completely differently from an indoor arena back home.

Why Zante Booked Guè

The reason is simple: the Zante summer crowd is overwhelmingly Italian, so booking Italy's biggest urban and trap artists is what the audience actually wants. Guè wasn't a one-off in 2026 — he shared the Gatsby programme with Shiva, Ludwig and Rondodasosa, plus Italiano Night, on a line-up that turned Gatsby into a genuine live-music destination rather than just another club. For a lot of visitors a concert like this is the anchor the whole trip gets planned around: you come for the beaches and the strip, but the concert is the night you talk about afterwards.

2026 Is Over — What About 2027?

The 2026 season is over, and the 2027 programme at Gatsby hasn't been announced yet. We only publish names and dates once they are confirmed, so nothing on this page should be read as a 2027 show.
